fun summer's almost over!
Summer's almost over! This summer was alot more fun than last year. A is bigger and she's more like a girl than a baby now. She makes me laugh and smile. She hides her toys and acts like she doesn't know where they are. She would ask me"Wedge" and smile("Where is it?" In the beginning we didn't know what she was saying and thought that she learned a new word "wedge" from someone). She's very smart and sweet. She loves to read and dance. Around people, she's very serious and cautious though. She doesn't get to be around kids and I'm little concerned but she'll be okay. Once I start school, she'll be with her grandma and grandpa all day long. I thought about part-time daycare... There's a daycare attached to the school that I teach and it would be so convenient. I could even walk over to see her during my free periods... well, so expensive... we'll probably wait until next Sept when she turns three.
Today, I went to NJ to see my mom and to bargain shop. I just can't pay full prices for clothes and shoes. If you look carefully, you can find awesome deals. It takes time but I really enjoy searching. I have two rules for shopping: 1) You must love it(not just like it) and/or 2) need it.
It's a long process for me in fitting rooms. Examining clothes, analyzing costs and really questioning myself... I like shopping by myself.
Having famous designer clothes are nice. However, is it that important? I envy those who can afford nice things(without gulit) but at the same time, I can't stand them. I know, I'm totally judging them for their appearances. I hate that! I do want and do buy name brand stuff but I feel guilty. Guilty for trying to be like the ones that I can't stand, guilty for wanting, guilty for spending money etc... Bargain shopping makes me less guilty. (By the way, I got some awesome deals today:) )
Below are some pictures from playdate and dutch wonderland visit. If anyone wants to go to dutch wonderland, please let me know! I don't want to waste my season pass. Gotta get my money's worth. It's all about good bargain:)
She was okay in the beginning...
but she got very upset when the machine started to move.
poor thing! She cried out "ALL DONE! ALL DONE!"
I should've taken her out sooner.
