finding "Baby"

ASL sleeps with her pink teddy bear named "Baby". ASL named her. She is her best stuff animal friend. Baby comforts her especially now that ASL has to sleep all by herself in her toddler bed without a pacifier. PL asked me to get another one... just in case. I saw one at Macy's before and I figured I can get it anytime. Of course, I waited until today and it's not there anymore! I came home disappointed and thought "I'll look for one tomorrow some where else".

As I was getting ready to put ASL to bed, I realized we left Baby at my mother-in-law's! We usually do not take Baby anywhere but today ASL really wanted to take Baby with her.
Poor PL, he went over to MIL's and got Baby while I tried to delay ASL's bedtime.

I googled the pink my first teddy and found out that the manufacurer stopped making the ones that look like Baby. After hours of searching, I found a site that sold it.

Today's lesson: Do not wait until the last minute.

seriously~ she's a little girl now. no longer "baby."
yeah, i learned from my in-law's the importance of having multiples of their lovey items. they still have this tattered little blue bear for ethan, and thank goodness that they had a spare hippo for sammy who lost it while on a trip to california. but they always seem to know the original one because of the smell. i'll keep that in mind. :)
