breastfeeding 2
Hate is a strong word. I don't hate people who love breastfeeding. I'm just frustrated. A mother to feed a hungry child should be a natural thing but how come it doesn't come easy to me?
Anyone read 'The Good Earth'? I can't remember the details but the woman had her child on her own, fed the baby and went back to the field to work. I was amazed. I know this is extreme in a real life but after reading the book, I thought taking care of children just comes naturally for mothers.
I'm going to stop venting about breastfeeding. No one REALLY understands what I'm going through. I know people can sympathize but only I am going through my situation with my child. I gotta work it out on my own.
GHL is over 9 pounds now. She's growing up fast but sometimes it's hard to see because I see her everyday. ASL is also growing up fast. She's talking and understanding a lot. She's good with her baby sister. It's hard for her when I'm spending a lot of time breastfeeding. I need to take her to the library or something...

I know what you are going through!! You gave great advice on the phone. G is already over 8 lbs... your milk is GOOD. Hang in there... it does get easier. Easier said.. I know. Hope to see you soon.
You're right, no one can really understand what you're going through. But look at your results! 9 lbs! You should be proud. And you can torture GHL when she gets older by saying, "Do you know what I went through when you were a baby GHL?"
